Hey! I have been reading that Hollywood studios tends to do a "soft start" in the morning. Does this include mornings with the extra magic hours? Thanks!!!

    Hi there, Robin!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel!

I've been doing some research on the "soft start" you mention and I'm not coming up with much on it. Something really fun that I've discovered over the years of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is that there are times when very special things happen completely out-of-the-blue with no warning at all. These things are not printed on a Times Guide, they're not listed on the online calendar and there is not much mention of them anywhere. I think this is the way the folks at Disney manage to still keep us all surprised with the magic that's possible when you don't know it's coming. Sometimes, the surprises can be something little that you'd never have expected!

I have a feeling that the "soft opening" you've read about might just be one of those things. My best suggestion is to arrive a little bit early on the day you're spending at Disney's Hollywood Studios and you just might be there to witness something special. It's always a special day when you're visiting one of the Disney Parks!

I wish I had a more concrete answer for you, but sometimes it's just fun to let the magic happen.

Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you're planning your trip.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
