    Hey Moms!! Quick question. Staying at AKL in June. What is the best Savanna to ask for or are they all good? Staying in Savanna bunk rm with hubby and 2 kids 2 and 7

    Hi Crystal!  I used to strongly suggest the Zebra Trail rooms overlooking the Savanna but since they have expanded the area due to the addition of Kidani Village I don't think it matters anymore.  The animals are pretty spread out now and one savanna doesn't seem to be any better then the next in my opinion.  Beware that the rooms that are at the end of Zebra Trail and Kudu Trail will be quite far away from the lobby area.  We were literally at the very end of Zebra Trail once and although the animal viewing was great it was a hike to the room after a long day in the parks.  You might request a room that is midway on those trails.  If they are too close the animal viewing seems to be sparser due to Arusha Rock.
