Hey moms! Another question. I heard you can drop a pillow case or book at guest relations and they will get the characters signatures? Is this true ?

    Hi Megan!

You did hear correctly, but this service is only offered to guests traveling on Disney's Cruise Line. Guests embarking on a Disney cruise are allowed two items per a stateroom that can be left with Guest Services for character signatures. While you may not be able to have the convenience of dropping off a pillow case at Walt Disney World, this is still a really fun souvenir for all your character autographs. Here is what you will need:

    -plain white pillow case
    -fabric Markers or Sharpies
-piece of cardboard (more than 1 if you have multiple pillowcases)
-air tight Bag to protect from water or rain

Before leaving home I launder the pillow cases and use my computer to print a cute iron-on transfer of my children's name to place in the middle of the pillow. This way I could easily identify everyone's pillow and by doing it before hand I didn't have to keep a space clear from signatures. You also can find some very cute embroidered pillow cases on websites such as Etsy.com.Place the pillow case(s) in an airtight bag with a piece of cardboard between them. The piece of card board doesn't have to be large, a 4"X6" will do quite nicely. If you have multiple pillowcases, placing the cardboard between them will ensure that they don't bleed on each other. Just take them out when your ready to add another signature, you may have to help the characters hold the pillow case taut so they can sign it smoothly.I have heard of guest using embroidery hoops to help keep the fabric nice and smooth for signing.I suggest taking the pillow cases to the self service laundry area at your resort and placing them in the dryer for about 15 minutes each night just to help the marker set so it will be less likely to bleed. The pillow cases were very easy to carry around the parks and my children actually use these everyday!

I hope this helps and please visit us again if we can answer anymore questions!

    Best Wishes!
