Hey, is it possible to make separate room reservations at the same resort under the same my Disney experience account? I’m traveling with a few families and wanting to book everything to make things simple since we have a lot of first time visitors! Thanks

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Kailen. I'm so glad you stopped by! And I'm super excited to hear about the Walt Disney World Resort vacation you're beginning to plan. A big travel party? Lots of first-time visitors? As Olaf would say, "All good things, all good things!"

A Disney vacation with a big group is sure to be BIG fun. I traveled with my extended family of 14 a few years ago, and we had the very best time exploring the four theme parks, chatting about our day over delicious meals, and relaxing at our Disney Resort hotel pool. We made lots of magical memories together!

You ask an excellent question. Yes, you can make separate room reservations at the same Disney Resort hotel, and you can manage those reservations with one My Disney Experience account. If you book those reservations online, they have to be booked as separate transactions. With a large group, I recommend booking your Disney Resort hotel reservations over the phone. That's what my mother-in-law did when she treated everyone in our extended family to a Disney vacation. She needed to book four separate reservations at the same hotel, and taking care of that over the phone was easy and convenient. The Cast Member she chatted with was able to book each reservation, add each family member to the correct room, and even arrange for our four rooms to be connecting. It was a seamless process! To get your reservations booked with a Cast Member, simply call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Line. A friendly Cast Member will get you all squared away! Just be sure to have the names and addresses of everyone that will be listed on each separate room reservation.

When traveling with a big party, I always recommend purchasing Memory Maker. With Memory Maker, you can download and share Disney PhotoPass photos from up to 25 members of your Family & Friends list. You're sure to capture lots of pixie-dusted moments with everyone in your group!

I hope this was helpful, Kailen. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
