Hey there! Please could you tell me if we are allowed to rent the pontoon boats from Wilderness Lodge or Grand Floridian if we are staying at Coronado? Many thanks in advance! Donna x

    Hi Donna!

Some of the best activities at Walt Disney World are located outside of the parks!  We love having resort days to chill or do something a little different and heading to a Disney Resort hotel marina is one of those things.

Guests do not need to be staying at a particular Disney Resort hotel to be able to take advantage of the boat rentals offered.  Just head on over to where you'd like to rent a pontoon and visit the marina to check it out.  These types of activities do not take reservations and are first come, first serve, but we've never run into a wait when we've ventured out on the lakes.  Hopefully you'll have the same luck as us!

Sea Raycers, Boston Whalers and Sun Trackers can be rented from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort.

In addition to motorized boat rentals, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground rents kayaks and canoes, which was a lot of fun during our last stay at the campground.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
