Hey, planDisney panel! Are the Resort pools limiting capacity based on the number of guests entering the pool areas? Do the kids counselors still provide music, games, and entertainment around the pool during the day, in a new socially distanced style?

Hey there, Amy! It's great to see you hEAR again at planDisney!

Amy, I was so happy to answer this question as I just returned from two trips to Walt Disney World with my family that included lots of pool time

First, while I can't confirm a capacity for Disney Resort Hotels, I can tell you though our experience that the pool areas always had empty lounge chairs and plenty of space. We were also greeted by a Cast Member who explained new pool procedures including asking us not to move any chairs as they were positioned for physical distancing. I am also very happy to report that the poolside fun like music and games were STILL happening! My family and I even got in on a TRIVIA time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. Sadly we didn't win, but... oh, boy... it was fun.

Amy, I hope this helps as you are looking ahead to your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Make sure to read all about the new enhanced health and safety measures you'll find upon arrival and if you're planning to visit a theme park, the new Disney Park Pass reservation system

Amy, while things are a bit different, I can tell you the Magic still abounds and is waiting for you. Wishing you a vacation full of pixie-dusted moments. Please come back and see us at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
