    Hey moms panel! I recently made a reservation over at Animal Kingdom for Dec 17 for 5:15 but noticed the park closes at 5. So I was wondering how late do the busses run after the parks close?

    Hi Samantha!

         I hope that you are enjoying the gorgeous weather that we are having in Louisiana this week!!!  I checked the calendar for December 17, 2011 and you are correct, the park does close at 5:00 PM.  There is no mention of Extra Magic Hours, which is a benefit for guests staying in one of the resorts on property.  Is your reservation perhaps at the Rainforest Cafe?  If so, the Rainforest Cafe found in Disney's Animal Kingdom is actually located just outside the gates and does not require a park ticket for admission.  The buses will continue to run from 60 to 90 minutes after the park closes.  

         Just to be on the safe side, I would call 1-407-WDW-DINE and make sure that you have the correct date and time.  If you are staying off property, I would ask the Cast Member if you will be allowed to enter the restaurant at that time.  Best of luck!
