Hey panel, so I have a question I have a trip planned for this August and a cruise planned for December but I have to cancel the trip. Can I put the payments from the resort trip to the cruise trip?

    Ahoy there, Tatiana!

Thanks for pulling into port here at planDisney!

While I'm sorry to hear you had to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort trip, I'm excited for you that you have a sailing with Disney Cruise Line scheduled for December. I can imagine Captain Minnie can't wait to welcome you aboard! I think there's simply so much to love about a Disney destination vacation, whether that getaway is on land or at sea.

I reached out to the friendly Cast Members at Disney Cruise Line on your behalf, and they confirmed for me that payments cannot be transferred between Walt Disney World Resort Vacations and Disney Cruise Line Vacations. In your situation, you would need to wait to receive your refund from your Walt Disney World Resort canceled trip, and then you could make additional payments with that money to Disney Cruise Line.

Tatiana, I hope this info is helpful as you make your Disney vacation plans. If you have more questions as you plan for your magical adventures, please come back and ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
