Hey Robin! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s always fun to talk to a name twin – I don't meet that many friends who share my name, so as Ellie says in Up, “you and me, we’re in a club!”
Like so many serious Walt Disney World fans, my family has a LOT of
MagicBands.
I recently sorted through our stash and deactivated a bunch, and noted that we each have basically every color. Like you, we have reached the point where we are
declining MagicBands because we just don’t need any more.
I checked with a Cast Member, who confirmed that, if you have booked an eligible
Disney Vacation Package that entitles you to
Magical Extras, you will still be able to receive the card and vouchers even if you decline MagicBands. To claim your Magical Extras, you’ll need to stop at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel on your check-in day; the Cast Members there will be able to provide your card and vouchers.
Enjoy those Magical Extras, Robin! While I love the miniature golf vouchers, I definitely get the most mileage out of the discount at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. Have you tried their iconic giant donut? It’s a must-have every time I visit, along with an iced latte. Yum!
