Howdy, Gabriel!
I can tell you’re
a big Oswald fan, and visiting the original Disney park is going to be a real treat for you! One of my favorite things about
Disney California Adventure Park is the
Old Hollywood charm you get as soon as you step inside. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit often makes an appearance near the
Red Trolley Car at the entrance, adding to that vintage vibe. This area of the park is designed to reflect the Hollywood that Walt Disney stepped into when he arrived in California in 1923 with just
a suitcase and a dream. It’s fitting to see Oswald,
his very first recurring character, featured here.
Here’s a fun tidbit: the Carthay Circle Restaurant you’ll see on Buena Vista Street is a scaled replica of the historic Carthay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles. This theater was a big deal in Hollywood’s golden age and played a crucial role in Walt Disney’s career. It’s where
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs had its premiere in 1937.
As for Oswald ears, I’m afraid I haven't seen them sold in the park for a while, and they’re not currently available on
shopDisney either. But Gabriel, don’t lose hope! Many
Disney Outlet stores carry them, and I’ve spotted them recently at the outlet store in my hometown of Ontario, California—about a 40-minute drive northeast of the resort. It might be worth checking out if you have the time!
I’m sorry I couldn’t find exactly what you were hoping for, Gabriel, but I promise you that as an Oswald fan, you’re in for a unique and classic Disney experience. There’s even a shop called
Oswald’s here, dedicated to the Golden Era of Disney, with plenty of pins, clothing, and memorabilia to satisfy your curiosity!
