Hey! Need input from Disney experts! We are arriving in Orlando the Sat after Thnksgvng 2013 & leaving the next Sat. Would it be best to start the parks on Sun or Mon, considering crowd levels & that we started our trip driving down on Fri?

No matter how long I've been a member of this panel, Lauren, I still get giddy when someone refers to me as a Disney expert; thank you for your compliment!  As for your upcoming Thanksgiving trip, I will tell you that there isn't likely to be a huge change in crowd levels between Sunday and Monday.  Many guests will leave on the Saturday you arrive.  With regard to crowd levels alone, either Sunday or Monday would be fine to start your park touring.  Exhaustion from the trip is a whole different subject, though.  If it were my family, I think we'd be so tired of sitting that we'd be ready to hit the parks on Sunday.  If you're concerned that your family needs a down day before you start your touring, you might consider visiting Downtown Disney or playing a round of miniature golf on Sunday before you commit to fun in the parks on Monday.  Either way, I hope your trip is unforgettable.  Enjoy!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
