Hey so I moved to socal l, from northern California. Im currently attending college down here for the next couple years. I live off campus and I see that it's possible to bring a utility bill or lease to prove residency for the socal imagine pass.

    Hi there, Kristian!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question! As a college instructor, I know how challenging it is for students to find opportunities to take a break from their classes. Magic Key passes make it easy to get away for an afternoon or evening after a busy day of college!

Although Magic Key passes went on sale this week, the Imagine Key is only available for renewal at this time. I know that is disappointing news! When the Imagine Key becomes available again, a government-issued photo ID with a valid address in ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 is needed. Since you will be in California for a couple of years, I recommend getting an updated ID from your local California Department of Motor Vehicles office.

You may want to consider purchasing another Magic Key pass, as California residents can make monthly payments on select passes. The monthly payment option will appear after you sign into your Disneyland account if your stored Disney account address is a California address. For any California resident promotions, a valid government-issued photo ID is needed that shows your California address.

Make sure to check out the list of food and merchandise discounts if you decide to purchase a Magic Key! It is one of the many perks of being a Magic Key holder. Once your Magic Key is added to your Disneyland mobile app, any applicable discounts should be automatically added when you place a mobile order. It makes it very easy to save money!

Kristian, I'm sorry this wasn't the news you hoped for. I recommend keeping an eye on the Offers & Discounts page for future discount opportunities.

Best of luck with your studies!
