Hey Moms! I was thinking of going to the World for my granddaughter's eleventh birthday. She is a VERY mature and sophisticated little girl! She loves the Princesses and Winnie the Pooh. What special things can we do for her?

Patricia, How about starting your day at the Magic Kingdom with breakfast with Pooh and his Hundred Acre at Crystal Palace, a whimsical restaurant offering a delicious buffet with items to suit every taste.  Make an early reservation so you have plenty of time to spend the morning and early afternoon exploring the shows and attractions of park before heading over to Disney's Grand Floridian via Monorail or Boat Launch for Afternoon Tea at The Garden View Tea Room.

This special experience is an authentic high tea and I think your sophisticated daughter will just love noshing on dainty tea sandwiches while sipping tea from delicate china cups.  I know I have taken my daughter many times and it has become the highlight of every trip.  I think she's at the perfect age to fully enjoy this experience which is appropriate for an eleven year old without being too childish.

Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Restaurant is offered each day beginning at 2PM and since this is an extremely popular destination, reservations book quickly!  Please be sure to make your reservation up to 180 days in advance either ONLINE or by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE.

To take this experience to the next level, you can even order a stunning Chocolate Glass Slipper dessert to be delivered while you're enjoying your tea.  This extravagant chocolate creation is as delicious as it is beautiful and is sure to be an extra special, magical surprise.  After booking your reservation, if you decide you'd like to order a chocolate slipper dessert, give the Disney Cake Hotline a call at (407) 827-2253 to arrange!
