Hey Mom Panel, just celebrated my dd bday in WDW now looking to plan a trip for 2015 with my mom, dd and myself. Which moderate resort would you recommend & when does the off season usually start in August?

    Hello Cartier!

Walt Disney World offers 5 different Moderate Resorts, 4 of which have the same room size and layout and 1 resort that accommodates up to 6 guests, has a separate room and bathroom and a complete kitchen - where dishes are magically clean while you are at the parks.

The Cabins at the Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offer a unique campground experience while on your vacation.  The amenities included in these rooms make them a great selection for a larger family or for a family that requires more privacy and services.  These rooms also include washer and dryer.

Each of the other 4 resorts also have its unique theme and layout, giving more options for smaller families

My personal favorite are the rooms located at the Alligator Bayou section of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  These rooms offer great space for my family of 4 and my kids love to take turns on the pull down - bunk bed of Louis the Alligator included in these rooms.
Using a rented car we were able to enjoy early commutes to the parks in less than 15 minutes.
We also like the woods like feeling of the resort.

All Disney resorts have a unique location and theme, allowing guests to choose the best that fits their family's taste.

We are glad you enjoy your recent visit to Walt Disney World and are happy to help you plan your 2015 visit.
