Hi Andrew!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for bringing your question over to us today. It is great to see a fellow Norfolk Guest in our corner of the internet! There is only one thing more exciting than a
Walt Disney World holiday, and that is planning one! You have come to the right place! Sorry for the delay in answering your question - I have been enjoying a visit to Disneyland Paris.
It looks like you will be travelling as a party of six, so you might want to consider a family suite at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. These will give you plenty of space to spread out. Another option, if budget allows, is a two-bedroom villa at one of the
Deluxe Villa Resorts. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a favourite for many, where you could choose a Savannah View and enjoy your morning coffee (or cup of tea, we are British after all) while watching giraffes stroll past. My personal favourite place to stay is
Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, which also offers beautiful two-bedroom villas. The Walt Disney World website will make these rooms easy to find, as they will only show rooms that will sleep the total number of your party. Depending on how your party is split family-wise, you could consider two smaller rooms at the same resort, which may offer you a more competitive price and a wider choice of resorts.
As a UK Guest, you will have access to the
14-Day Magic Ticket. This offers excellent value and includes entry to the Theme Parks over an 18-day window, Water Park access, rounds of mini golf, and Memory Maker. Even better, if you book your Disney Resort Hotel and Ticket package by 5 November 2025 for selected arrivals between 7 January and 19 December 2026, you can take advantage of the free Dining & Drinks offer included with your stay.
Personally, I always book directly with Disney. You can add flights to your package or book your travel separately, whichever suits your plans best. For us, because we need a car during our stay, we often book travel separately, opting for a 'fly drive' package with an airline.
I hope this helps as you start to plan your Walt Disney World vacation, Andrew! If you have any further questions while you plan your vacation, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
See ya real soon!
Matt
