    Hi Sherri!

Thanks for asking me this question!  My son (13 years old) and I ate at T-Rex for the first time last year and we really liked it!  It is a little noisy and the food is not that inexpensive, but I still would recommend it because it is very unique, especially if you and your children like dinosaurs.  My son and I have eaten at Rainforest Cafe in many different places around the country and they all are very similar as far as atmosphere and entertainment during your meal.  If your family has never been to Rainforest Cafe before, then you may want to experience it at least once.  Another great place in Downtown Disney is Planet Hollywood, your teenagers may thank me later for recommending this.  This is a fun place to eat, with lively music, and movie props all around, not to mention, it is just cool to eat in a giant globe!  I generally like to eat at unique places when I am in Walt Disney World.  I choose dining experiences that I can't do when I am at home.  As far as paying cash out of pocket for meals, pay cash for the least expensive meals or if anyone wants something from the kid's menu to save Dining Credits for more expensive meals later in your trip.

I hope that your family has the vacation of a lifetime on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
