Greetings, Lotus, and welcome to planDisney! Deadpool is such a personality, and it's been so fun seeing him at the Disneyland Resort, even on a limited-time basis.
I do, unfortunately, need to start with some bad news. The Merc with a Mouth is currently at California Adventure for the holiday season with "
The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special," but it will end just before you arrive, Lotus. According to the
Hours & Events Calendar, it will run through January 7, 2026. This is a silly show similar to ones in the past, where Deadpool tells holiday stories in his own, unique way. If there's any chance you can move the trip up a few days, you should be able to catch his performance. Otherwise, you can check the
Disneyland mobile app to see which Characters will be out meeting with Guests on the day of your visit, but I'm not confident that Deadpool will be listed there. You can always wish upon a star, though!
Regardless, I think it's fitting to have a chimichanga in Deadpool's honor during your visit. In California Adventure, you can head to Cozy Cone 4 or Pym Test Kitchen. In Disneyland, you can get one from the Ship to Shore Marketplace near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or the cart by the Partners Statue.
Now, you mentioned you also love Star Wars, which you can easily make part of your birthday visit thanks to Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. Here are some ideas for you:
- Treat yourself to a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Rise of the Resistance, and enjoy all the fun with a shorter wait.
- Bring something with you, like the mat border for a frame, that Characters inside Galaxy's Edge can sign. Take photos with them, make a collage, and put it in a frame for a cute reminder of the visit.
- Bring a MagicBand+ with you to play Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters on the Play Disney Parks app.
- Book the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering dining package. This is a great way to pair delicious food with a great view of the nighttime spectaculars in Galaxy's Edge. Fireworks are scheduled for January 11, 2026 (weather permitting), so this would be a wonderful way to end your day. There still appears to be availability at the time of writing this.

Deadpool will be sailing the high seas in 2026 for the first time ever, along with other Marvel heroes and villains, as part of a special show on the ship. Between the
