Hey! Love this panel! We were lucky and just got an ADR for Be Our Guest at 6:30 for our trip in 2 weeks. However we are supposed to be at Pirates and Pals at 8:30. Is this doable? I know it will be tight, but I was so happy to get that reservation!

    Hi, Mary!

Congratulations on your Advanced Dining Reservation to Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom! You're going to love it!

While I think your  6:30 reservation is just fine as it is, if you would like to add a little extra commute time between your dining reservation and your arrival at Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage (which shoves off from the pier at Disney's Contemporary Resort) I would suggest that you arrive a bit early for your 6:30 reservation. At check-in, explain that you need to be finished in about an hour or so (that's about the amount of time it took for our meal at BOG) so you'd like to be seated a bit early if possible. Even if you arrive on time and are seated quickly, I would still let your server know that you have reservations for P & P over at the Contemporary, so he / she will be mindful of the timing of your meal. The servers throughout Walt Disney World have been so wonderful to us over the years; I'm sure you'll feel the same this time, too! By the way, eat a small portion of dessert (the Passion Fruit Cream Puff is fantastic) because you'll have dessert at the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage (cake, prepackaged ice cream) as well. Yum.

Once you have finished your meal, the quickest way to your exciting Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is to walk. It's about a 10 minute walk from the gates of Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort; just head to the check-in area inside the resort and let the fun begin!

You are in for a night you'll never forget, Mary! Have a blast!

Send more questions as you think of them, Mary; we love to help!
