Hey. Love this group! Wondering if there is a weight limit on the Murphy beds in the Art of Animation? Planning a girls only trip for September, possibly 4 adults and 1 child (6). We are trying to decide between 1 suite AofA, or 2 rms at Pop.

    Hi Jennifer,

The new TableBeds in the family suites at Art of Animation are very cool. You can eat on the table all day, then fold the double-sized bed from the wall to be supported by the table at night.

I hadn't seen anything about weight restrictions on the beds, which looked very sturdy to me on my stay in one of the Cars suites late last year, so I called to confirm with the cast members at Art of Animation. The answer: The beds are designed to hold two adults weighing up to 180 pounds each or a total of 360 pounds.

In the suites, you'll also find that the sofa folds out into a double bed, and the bedroom (which has a door to separate it from the main area) contains a queen. There are two full bathrooms, two televisions and a kitchenette with microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker and paper goods and utensils.

I'm a fan of Pop Century, which is adjacent, but I know when I travel with my college friends for girls weekends, we like to stay up late, sitting around talking and enjoying each other's company. The sofa and sitting area in one of the family suites would give you a comfortable place to gather for that together time. .

In two connecting rooms at Pop Century, you would have a total of four double bed and two bathrooms, but the beds are the only place to sit besides two straight chair that accompany the very small table.

So I would wholeheartedly recommend a suite at Art of Animation for this kind of  trip.

Please feel free to write back if I can make any other suggestions or answer any other questions as you plan your visit. It sounds like a blast. Enjoy!
