Hey Lori! I am currently training for the TOT10 but have not be an avid runner in the past. If I am in able to maintain a 15 min mile what happens? I am working hard to make sure this doesn't happen, just want to know. Thanks!

    Hi Jason!

The Tower of Terror 10-Miler is a great race!  I am sure you will be well-trained and ready for the challenge!  But, if for some reason (and it does happen sometimes), you are having a bad running night, NO WORRIES!

There are "sweepers" that ride along at the back of the race.  They start after the last person crosses the starting line and they maintain a 16 minute/mile pace.  If someone gets behind them, they will be driven on a cart to the family reunion area at the finish line to wait for or meet up with their party.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions and best of luck on your training!
