Extra Magic Hours are definitely one of the best perks of being a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest!!

Yes, you can go to the theme park offering Extra Magic Hours solely to enjoy them without having to be at the park during normal operating hours. You will simply need to show your Key to the World Card when going through the turnstiles so the Cast Member knows that you are a Resort Hotel Guest. You will need to keep your Key to the World Card handy as you will have to show it to get on the attractions.
