Hi there, Fatima!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you will be going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation later this year! You will have a WONDERful time at sea with Captain Mickey and make some very special memories.
Celebrating a birthday while onboard is always so much fun! Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line policy
prohibits Guests from bringing homemade or perishable food items onboard. But, don’t worry – you can still celebrate onboard and I guarantee it will be a birthday your son will remember! Just make sure that your reservation is noted that a celebration is occurring when onboard! You can do this on your
“My Reservations” page under “Special Requests”. This will notify the Cast Members onboard, including your dining room servers, of the special event and the special day will be celebrated one night during dinner service! You can discuss with your server if there is a particular night you would like the celebration to occur as they may make the decision based on the night’s dinner events or dinner show. You can also opt to have a special cake or birthday decorations delivered to your stateroom through
In-Room Gifts & Amenities! These requests must be made at least three days prior to your sailing but are certainly a great addition to any celebration.
Also, make sure you stop by Guest Services once onboard to pick up a “It’s My Birthday!” celebration button for your son to wear on his special day – or all week, because birthdays are worth celebrating for more than one day!
Happy Sailing!
