Hey Kirsten, we are taking our yearly trip on March 30th. My family is travelling with my sister and her family on our DVC points. We have annual passes...but my sisters family does not. How will this effect magic bands and fast passes??? Thanks in advance

    Hi there Shannon!

How exciting that you'll be traveling with extended family for your next visit to Walt Disney World!
In order to coordinate some FastPass+ experiences for your two families, you'll want to become familiar with MyMagicPlus and the My Disney Experience online and mobile tools available to you!

Be sure to link your DVC reservation(s) to your online profile through MyDisneyExperience and customize your entire travel party's MagicBands just as soon as you can! You can select colours and names you'd like printed inside the bands. This part can be done right away - so be sure to start finding out what everyone's favourite colours are! *Note that although you'll be prompted to update an address for shipping, your MagicBands will not actually ship to Canada - they'll be waiting for you at the Front Desk of your DVC Resort when you check in.

Your family can also link your Annual Passes to your reservation and MagicBands online. Visit the MyDisneyExperience area of the website and you'll be taken step by step through the process under 'My Account' and then 'MagicBands and Cards.' The same process can be repeated online once your sister's family purchases their tickets or can be completed by a Cast Member for you upon arrival.

After successfully linking your passes, you'll be able to select FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days prior to arrival. If you're unable to successfully select the same FastPass+ experiences for all members of your travel party, you can ask a Cast Member for assistance upon arrival on site. Under the FastPass+ selection area, there's an option to have a Guest select the same FP+ as those already in place for another Guest in the travel party. This way, all Guests traveling together are able to end up with the same selections.

I hope this helps you out Shannon!
Wishing you a Magical next visit to Walt Disney World!
