Hey Kay! Love reading all your great answers! Some pals and I just started planning a much needed WDW weekend getaway. We might not all have park tickets - any suggestions for meals and evenings? Thanks for your help!!

Hey Joanne...off the slopes in Colorado to now thinking about some warmer weather fun in Florida! I might need that getaway as well!

There are so many great dining options in the resorts at Walt Disney World. Depending on what kind of atmosphere you will want will depend on the recommendations. For fine dining I love Citricos in the Grand Floridian resort, Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge, and Jikos or Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villa resort. I would be thrilled to dine at any of these!

For more casual dining in the resorts I suggest Boma's at Animal Kingdom, Beaches and Cream and Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club, Whispering Canyon at Wilderness, and Kona Cafe at Polynesian.

For character dining my favorites include Chef Mickey at Contemporary and the Cape May breakfast buffet at the Beach Club!

Beyond the parks and resorts you can find some awesome culinary spots in Downtown Disney. A couple of my favorites include Fulton's Crab House and Portobello's but there are many more. You can also dine while watching a movie at the AMC Fork and Screen or grab a bite while trying to through the bowling ball down the lane for a strike at the new Splitsville. There are so many different kind of options and it is what makes Walt Disney World such a culinary destination beyond the characters and parades!
