Hey Jackie! We are going to Disney from NOLA your area the second week of September and I was wondering if you know of the best time to try to find discounted flights?

    Hi Kathryn!

Well I hope that you are enjoying this gorgeous weather as much as I am right now!  The only thing better would be spending the day in Walt Disney World!  I spent some time as a Travel Agent a few years ago and I picked up a couple of good hints.  First, when flying from New Orleans to Orlando, the BEST deal is always on Southwest Airlines.  No matter what the deal, special or promo of the week happens to be, Southwest always trumps the completion in our neck of the woods!  I would download Southwest's "Ding" application to your computer, in order to be notified of upcoming sales.

I've also heard that the cheapest time to buy your flights is 6 weeks ahead of your vacation.  Even more specific than that, I've always found Wednesday morning to have the best deals.  Honestly, no matter what the day or time, you can't go wrong when you fly Southwest!

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and keep those questions coming!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
