Hey all, I have a VERY important question about beer. LOL Where is the cheapest place to come across it without a car? I've heard somewhere that certain types of beer are $30 for a 6 pack! That seems outrageous! True? Can you order it thru garden grocer?

    Hi Shefflan!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  As the number one vacation destination in the world, Walt Disney World is unfortunately not the cheapest vacation.  I think the least expensive place to get beer that is also the easiest is at one of the Hess gas stations on property.  There's one near Downtown Disney and one near the Boardwalk.  The one near Downtown Disney is just across the street from the Marketplace portion of Downtown Disney.

That said, I think the best place with the largest selection is Goodings in the Crossroads Shopping Center outside of Disney, but near Downtown Disney (about a 20 minute walk from Downtown Disney if you walk quickly).  The easiest way to get there would be to hire a taxi.

Alcohol doesn't show up on the Goodings website for delivery, but I know guests have just typed in extra stuff that they have wanted in the comments section after checkout and haven't had a problem.  Other guests have sent a direct e-mail asking for it and have also not had a problem.  Basically, you are asking for a special request from Goodings.

I hope this helps!  Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and write back if you have any more questions!
