Welcome back to planDisney, Kaden!
There is nothing better than heading to
Walt Disney World with friends. You two must be so excited for your upcoming trip!
Kaden, you are such a good friend to be aware of how important visits with Mickey & pals are to your friend. That is so considerate! That being said, these are your trips, too, so it's perfectly okay for you to enjoy a little one-on-one conversation with our favorite characters as well. That's not overshadowing your friend--that's sharing in the fun. Plus, these greetings will give you both so much to talk about for years to come!
Keep in mind that lots of groups of families and friends gather for
Character Experiences, and many of them ask for individual conversations, photos, and autographs for more than one member. When our kids were little, we'd often get a group photo, but each child had an autograph book, so each had a conversation with the characters as well. After your friend has had her moment of joy, say something such as "Is it okay if I get a hug, too, Mickey?" or "I am a huge fan, too. Can we get a photo together?" Mickey and all of his pals are so happy to have us all there for a visit--they will be overjoyed to share the love with you, too!
If there is a Cast Member assisting with the meet and greet, let them know your plans as well. Whether you
Meet Mickey at Town Square Theater,
Meet Peter Pan in Fantasyland,
Meet Belle in France, or take advantage of any of the other dozens of character opportunities, all are happy to help make those magical moments happen for one and all--especially for a good friend such as you!
Kaden, as you put together your plans for a return to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
