Aloha, Nicole!
What can I say except you're welcome to planDisney! Mahalo (that means "thank you" in Hawaiian) for stopping by with your question. See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me, which is why
Aulani is one of my favorite Disney Resorts and we have visited it many times. It sounds like it is calling you, too, and soon, you'll discover there's no place you'd rather be than riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride at Aulani.
Nicole, the
KA WA'A Luau is such a wonderful experience, and I am so glad to hear you are planning to attend. It is one of the best luaus I have been to, and we visit Hawaii every year. Not only is it an opportunity to learn about Hawaiian culture through the traditional foods, storytelling, and music of the luau. But you can also learn to play the ukulele, learn how poi is made, and even learn to make a flower lei bracelet when you first arrive at the luau. It is a memorable experience and a must-do when visiting Hawaii.
If you do not see any online availability, Nicole, I recommend calling the Reservations Desk at the Resort to see if they can make the luau booking for you. Last year, we couldn't find reservations online. However, when I called, they were able to find additional seating and make the reservation for us. They often have the ability to find availability not shown on the calendar. You can reach them at +1(844) 284-7644 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hawaiian Time.
Now, I should note that Hawaiian time is currently 11 hours behind UK time. So, you should be able to reach them between 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM UK time.
I hope you are able to get your reservation at the KA WA'A Luau, and if it's available, I recommend Preferred Seating. Not only will you enjoy an earlier entrance, but your seating location will allow you to see the stage better, and you will enjoy first access to the delicious buffet. Be sure to try
Huli Huli Chicken if it is offered, as it is a Hawaiian specialty!
If you have any further Aulani questions, Nicole, surf back here to see me. Here at planDisney, you are part of our 'ohana. 'Ohana means family, and that means nobody gets left behind.
A Hui Hou (it means "until we meet again" in Hawaiian),
