Hi there!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm happy to help with your question about park admission tickets.
As I don't know the exact date you wish to buy a ticket for
Magic Kingdom Park, I have looked at ticket prices for your arrival date in September 2024. Currently, a 1-day park ticket would cost US$179.99 (including tax), or US$174.66 (including tax) for one day's admission for the first few days of October 2024. If you want to add park hopping and Memory Maker to this ticket, there is an additional charge for these.
Please note that all prices are subject to change. There is a different price for one-day admission to the other 3 theme parks, but Magic Kingdom Park is usually the most costly.
Unfortunately, you cannot buy these tickets from the UK, but once you arrive in the US you can purchase tickets at any Guest Relations window at all the Walt Disney World theme parks, and water parks, and at the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. When you arrive in the US, you can also buy tickets online https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/admission/tickets/theme-parks/.
The price quoted above for 1 day's admission to any Walt Disney World theme park does not include park hopping or water parks - these can be added for an additional cost. If your plans could change and you may visit the theme parks for three or more days I would encourage you to look at the UK-exclusive tickets -
7-Day or 14-Day Magic Tickets. These tickets are offered at a very competitive price and give you 7 or 14 days of entry to all four theme parks, park hopping to any other park (subject to capacity), entry to the water parks (whichever is open), and use of
Memory Maker for all the lovely photos taken by the Disney PhotoPass Photographers around all the parks, and digital downloads of fantastic ride photos. Looking at the current prices (starting at £519 per adult, prices subject to change), you will see that they are a very good deal for UK guests. You have 15 days in which to use your 7-day ticket, or 18 days to use your 14-day ticket, so they give us a lot of flexibility.
Our UK Magic Tickets do not require advance
park reservations, whereas any non-date-based tickets purchased in the US will need park reservations which are always subject to availability. (
A one-day ticket is date-based and will not need a park reservation.)
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can
send me a direct question if you wish. We are very happy to help you plan your magical holiday at Walt Disney World!
Sue
