Hi Sylvia,
Welcome to the WDW Moms Panel. We're here to help you navigate your way through all the planning of your magical vacation. We've all "been there, done that" and we can't wait to help. First time visitors make it extra fun for us!
The offers and deals that I would suggest are often dependent on the time of year that you are traveling,. However, to get started you'll wanted to watch for
Special Offers as well as get some cost-saving tips at www.mousesavers.com. If you are planning in advance then you have time on your side.
I highly recommend looking for discounted rates on your WDW hotel room especially if you are looking at a moderate or deluxe hotel. This will sometimes save you even more money than a Free Dining package where you pay rack rate for your hotel.
You'll get one of the best savings by staying at a value resort AND looking for a free dining package.
For tickets, sign up for the MouseSavers newsletter. You'll get a special link to purchase discounted tickets from Undercover Tourist, a reputable ticket broker. I've used them myself!
If you get a free dining offer, you'll need to get park tickets and your room through a WDW vacation package so don't get the tickets until you know if you'll be purchasing them through Disney or a discounted store. We also use our local AAA Automobile Club office for tickets.
Start reading the above info and then do not hesitate to return with all of your questions!
