Hi, Joseph! Setting a budget for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is an important part of vacation planning. I'm happy to walk you through how my family sets our Disney vacation budget! There are three big budget categories - hotel, park tickets, and food. All things that the Walt Disney World Resort is known for doing extremely well!
We start with our Disney Resort Hotel! We always select a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. The great news is that there is a resort hotel for every family budget. There are
value,
moderate, and
deluxe hotels available for Guests to book! To price out each category, you can visit the Walt Disney World Resort website and hover your mouse over
"Places to Stay." When you do that, a dropdown menu will appear. You can then browse the many resorts, set your possible visit dates, and you will see prices associated with each resort.
The next step in budgeting is to select which Disney Parks you want to visit during your vacation! There are four parks - Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom! There is currently a great deal being offered on the Walt Disney World Resort website! This deal allows you to add
two extra theme park days when you book a 4-night/3-day room and ticket package! That is a great way to see some savings in your vacation budget! To see current pricing for tickets, visit the
theme park tickets page and begin making your selections for how many days you wish to spend in the Disney Parks!
Finally, you need to budget for the amazing food selection at the Walt Disney World Resort! There is a wide variety of food options from quick-service meals to table service dining experiences with some of your favorite Disney characters! We usually try to budget for several quick-service meals and then make one reservation for dinner at a table service restaurant. You can find pricing for all restaurants on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Hover your mouse over the "Things to Do" tab. When you do that, a dropdown menu will appear. Click on
"All Restaurants" and let your appetite be your guide!
Joseph, you can build your dream vacation on the Walt Disney World Resort website. When you do, you'll see a total for hotel and tickets. You are not committing to purchase anything until you enter a credit card number and confirm your purchase. You can also call (407)-939-5277 to have a friendly Disney Cast Member help price out a vacation for you!
