Hey I'm Trying Plan my son a birthday trip he turning 6 i would like to stay on Disney. I want to new what we can do like rides activities food and etc. I Would like to stay for 4 days but attend the attractions for 2.

    Hi Anjerracle,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

First, I’d like to say happy (early) birthday to your son! I’m sure he’ll absolutely enjoy spending time at the Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate.

Since you’re hoping to come to the Resort very soon, I suggest checking on Resort availability first. You never know what you might find! If you’d like to be on property for four days, just pick your timeframe for the vacation and see what’s available. If there’s no availability for a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Hakuna Matata, check out these other great accommodations in close proximity to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now when it comes to tickets, if you stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or any of the other accommodations I linked above, you’ll be able to book a package deal where you can select the number of days for the Theme Parks. If there are rooms available, you’d be able to choose your room type then go directly into selecting your tickets for two days. You could either do one Park per day or choose a Park Hopper ticket, which allows you to go to multiple Disney Theme Parks throughout the day! If you choose to stay off-property, you’ll want to book your tickets here.

Remember that you'll need a Disney Park Pass reservation for each person, each day you go into the Theme Parks. You can make that reservation here after you book your tickets.

Check out this visitor’s guide to determine what rides and shows might be best for your son! I love this feature because you can filter by Theme Park as well as they type of ride for specific age groups. In my experience, one Park that should definitely be on your list is Magic Kingdom Park, so your family can get pictures by Cinderella Castle and you can explore all the rides in Fantasyland!

One final tip: Make sure to grab a complimentary birthday button for your son from Guest Relations or any merchandise location around the Theme Parks!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your son's epic birthday celebration! If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
