Ahoy again Robin –
We are so glad that you came back for a visit at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You still have plenty of time for planning, and it looks like you are doing an awesome job! You and your son will have a wonderful time both together and apart because on Disney Cruise Line, there is something for everyone. Though I am married, I recently experienced a cruise without my husband when I took my 2 kids on the Dream earlier this year. I think it was one of my best trips ever! As a family, enjoy the first run movies, Broadway style shows, character greetings, and amazing family activities onboard. As a single adult, check your
Personal Navigator for fun and innovative adult-only experiences like cooking seminars, wine tastings, napkin folding, and health and fitness classes. Robin, you can hang out in the spa, enjoy a cocktail, or relax on the adult reserved decks of the ship. As far as planning for extra expenses, do not forget about excursions (prices are listed in the
Port Adventures), alcohol, specialty dining (Remy, Palo),
Spa and Salon services,
Ground Transportation to the ship (and back), gratuity for any drivers for Port Adventures, souvenirs, shopping onboard,
Photography and theater concessions. Hope you are enjoying the planning process, Robin, and come back real soon!
