Hey, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney. How exciting that you'll be visiting Disneyland Resort for your birthday. I've only ever visited the Disney Parks on my un-birthday. I'm confident that your trip will be "practically perfect in every way."Unfortunately, Jennifer, you must still purchase a ticket for your special day. Disney does not grant Guests free entry if they visit on their birthday. However, I do love that idea! People regularly visit Disneyland Resort to celebrate major milestones, such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, honeymoons, etc. If you stop by Guest Relations on the day of your visit, you can mention that you're celebrating and you should receive a complimentary celebration button, which you can wear throughout the day. Cast Members and other Guests will see that you're celebrating and will be able to offer their congratulations. Whenever I'm celebrating during a Disney vacation, I always make reservations for a special meal. There are many magical restaurants at Disneyland Resort, therefore, I'd recommend making a dining reservation at one of the following:Blue Bayou Restaurant (Disneyland Park)Carthay Circle Restaurant (Disney California Adventure Park)Lamplight Lounge (Disney California Adventure Park)Napa Rose (Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa)At select restaurants, you can even pre-order Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes. If you'd like to experience dinner and a show, maybe consider booking the Fantasmic! Dining Package or World of Color Dining Package. These packages allow you to experience a delicious meal at a variety of restaurants before enjoying access to a preferred viewing area for a nighttime spectacular. It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday!I hope that gives you some food for thought, Jennifer. I trust you'll have a wonderful time. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.Mike
