Hey! I'm planning my daughter's 5th birthday at Disney it's May 7th since it's after the big 50 celebration I'm not sure what will be planned during that time I need help finding ideas and things to do she loves Elsa and Tianna FYI

    Hey Derrico!

Welcome to planDisney! I love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort! We have the best time and the memories made have been so special. I would love to help you and I have the following ideas that you should check out:
    • A birthday doesn't begin until you pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for your princess to wear on her special day. Head to any Guest Relations or Front Desk location to find one! I have also had luck at some merchandise locations. Just ask a Cast Member! To pretty up the button I would visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park where for a small fee they can beautifully calligraphy her name onto the button!
    • You need to stop reading this and open a new window and try to book a reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Your princess can get a special makeover from a Fairy Godmother Apprentice right in Cinderella Castle! Reservations can be hard to get and they start booking 60 days ahead. Oh no! I see you are already past that. My tip is to keep checking as guests can cancel up to one day before without a cancellation fee. If you are on a limited budget I would consider bringing a dress that you found on your own! Don't forget a backup outfit as your princess may be done with her princess dress after a few hours or minutes.
    • Meet Princess Tiana and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom Park
    • Don't miss the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom Park where you will catch both Tiana and Elsa on beautiful floats. (Tip: Look for the fire-breathing dragon!)
    • Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus at EPCOT
    • Ride Frozen Ever After in EPCOT. Head to the Norway Pavilion for a fun boat ride through Arendelle. (FYI: There are two drops with one going forward that is a bit exciting and a backward one that is very gentle)
    • While at EPCOT, you may notice some extra special greenery and floral masterpieces as you will be there during the International Flower & Garden Festival. Look for the new Princess Tiana topiary at the American Adventure Pavilion! Elsa and Anna will be at the Norway Pavilion!
    • Catch For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is hilarious and fun with a magical ending! Fun for parents too- trust me!
    • I suggest having a lovely birthday celebration meal planned for your princess and ordering a Celebration Cake! I ordered a chocolate one for my daughter's birthday and it was delicious! We ate the leftovers for the entire trip.
    • A very special treat is to reach out to Disney Floral & Gifts to have a gift, flowers, or balloons delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room!
I hope that this helps make it a magical day for both of you! Let me know if you have any more questions!

We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips.
