Greetings, Tanner, and welcome to planDisney! First things first – congratulations on your September 2026 wedding! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a few nights at the Disneyland Resort and a Disney cruise from San Diego.
The prices for both the hotel stay and cruise can vary based on several factors, including your specific travel dates, available special offers, your choice of accommodations, and other considerations. I suggest browsing the September 2026 sailings on the
Disney Cruise Line website. You’ll be able to view pricing by stateroom category, which can help you narrow down your preferred cruise. Once you have a sailing in mind, you can then explore your Disneyland Resort hotel options. There are
three Resort hotels to choose from, and the cost of the room will vary depending on which you select.
Tanner, I'd start with booking one of the
three cruises departing from San Diego in September. You can do that online or by
calling Disney Cruise Line. According to the current itineraries, you'd be sailing on the Disney Magic, which is a wonderful ship. There are
three amazing themed dining venues that you'll enjoy, along with incredible live shows. If you are a fan of Rapunzel and her story, you're in for a real treat! You'll notice a few options when choosing a stateroom. I absolutely love having a private balcony to take in the fresh ocean air and expansive views, so I typically try to book a
Verandah stateroom.
As far as the Disneyland Resort goes, you really can't go wrong with
any of the Resort hotels. All three are within walking distance of the theme parks and offer immersive theming and comfortable accommodations. My personal favorite is the
Disneyland Hotel, which combines nostalgia with modern touches and features a fantastic pool area. You'll have the opportunity to add theme park tickets to your stay when booking the room. You could also explore the
Good Neighbor Hotel packages for additional options at different price points.
I also recommend browsing the
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons website as you plan this special trip. You can
request a brochure with helpful information about honeymoon destinations. You can even learn how to start a Disney honeymoon registry so family and friends can contribute to various parts of your trip, including accommodations, excursions, theme park tickets, and more.
Tanner, on behalf of all of us here at planDisney, I'd like to wish you and your future spouse a happily ever after. If you think of any additional questions as you continue planning your honeymoon, please feel free to reach out. We're always happy to help!
Sprinkling pixie dust for you,
