Hey I'm a bit confused, Iwhen does Disney World become transformed for Christmas? Also, the part that I am confused about is the Very Merry Mickey Christmas party something different then just Disney being decorated or is there a special party for kids?

    Hi Shalene!

Walt Disney World Resort will start to be decorated for the holidays in early November.  In fact, the last Halloween celebration is on November 1st this year, and the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom is only a few days later.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a hard ticketed event, meaning you have to have a special ticket for it to attend.  It's offered on select nights in November and December.  On those nights, the Magic Kingdom will close to guests at 7pm and then only party goers (with a party ticket) will be allowed to stay in the Magic Kingdom until midnight. During the party, there is a special show, parade, and fireworks show. There's also free cookies and hot chocolate available as select locations throughout the park.  It also snows on Main Street USA during the party, which is a lot of fun, especially if you've never seen real snow before.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is definitely a "must do".  It's sure to leave everybody in your party in the holiday spirit!

Hopefully this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
