Hey howdy hey, MK! I’m so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! First off, thank you for your family’s service – it’s truly appreciated!
I’m happy to report that discounted 1-Day tickets are available to Military Service Members, and can be purchased on base. Here’s how it works: The eligible service member (who is either currently active duty or a reservist, or a full retiree with 20+ years of service and a military ID) or the service member’s spouse can purchase as many of these tickets as needed. You can find a discounted ticket price list on a base/post MWR/Ticket & Travel website. Since you’re in California, you’re in luck – there are four bases within a few hours of the
Disneyland Resort that usually have these tickets stocked at all times, including Camp Pendleton, March ARB, Navy Base San Diego, and L.A. Air Force Base.
However, if you’re hoping to purchase
discounted 3-Day or 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets, you can purchase them on base, or at a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. If you’re taking advantage of this wonderful offer, the eligible service member or spouse would need to be present to both purchase these tickets and to use them. Eligible service members can purchase up to six of these tickets per year. I checked in with my dear friend, military wife and panelist,
Kristen N., and she informed me that the National Guard does qualify as an “Eligible Service Member,” so you’re good to go!
There are currently some amazing
Disneyland Resort Hotel deals available to Military families, too! To enjoy this offer, your
hotel stay would need to be booked by December 19, 2019, and used by December 20, 2019. To check hotel availability and book this exciting offer, call (714) 956-6425.
I hope this information helps as you continue planning your magical Disneyland Resort adventure! Please stop back with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
Kristin
