Hello there, Dana!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It's always a good time to spend a day in the parks, but there is something extra special about
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort!Watching the parks change from spooky season to "Happy Holidays" is truly just like magic! I have had visits where we go to bed at a Disneyland Resort Hotel and wake up to find a huge Christmas Tree in the lobby the next day. Stunning! Because there are so many decorations across the parks, an observant guest will start to see the holidays appearing even before Halloween actually arrives. We think Jack Skellington would be proud of this delightful mix of holiday decor! We don't have an official start date for the celebrations just yet, but entertainment and treats often debut around the second weekend in November. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for official dates to be announced, hopefully later this summer.
While we wait for more news, you should definitely check out the Disney Parks Blog! We have already reached the "Halfway to the Holidays" mark on the calendar (can you believe it?) and the blog recently shared some of the
sweet treats we can look forward to. I'll tell you right now that you should plan to use the
Disneyland Mobile App to order yourself some Mickey Gingerbread. I'm not actually a gingerbread fan, but that cookie is totally
amazing. Not to be missed!
Dana, one of my family's favorite things to do is use photos from our vacations for our holiday cards!
This cute blog post shares tips from me and my fellow panelists to help you capture a photo that truly reflects your personality. I hope you will be able to enjoy all the sparkle and wonder of the holidays on your visit! Feel free to
send me a note if you have any other questions as you plan your trip.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
