Hey guys! I'm 17 days away and I plan on using Magical Express! When do you typically get the letter in the mail? I called and added my flight info, but I've not gotten a letter yet. As long as I have my band, will I be good?

    Hi Larissa!

I love that you are counting down the days to your Disney vacation and asking such great questions to “be prepared” as Scar said in The Lion King. With all this careful planning, once you get to the Most Magical Place on Earth, you can soak it all in and not stress over the details.

We love hEARing that Guests have already made their Disney’s Magical Express reservations. As you know, this complimentary round-trip service is available to all Guests arriving at Orlando International Airport and staying at one of these Walt Disney World Resort hotels. These motorcoaches make getting to and from Walt Disney World Resort as carefree as Simba hanging out in the jungle with Timon and Pumbaa.

After giving them your Disney Resort Hotel reservation confirmation number and flight information, you are all set to use the Disney’s Magical Express service. Disney will send you written confirmation in the mail; additionally, you can request a MagicBand which is still complimentary to Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel through the end of this year. If you haven’t already, hop online and request your complimentary MagicBand so that it can be shipped to you in advance of your departure.

Even if you don’t receive your Disney Magical Express paperwork in the mail, Hakuna Matata! Just make sure you have your MagicBand in your carry-on luggage because you can use it to check-in for the complimentary bus service. That’s exactly how I handled my check-in for this service last week, and within minutes, we were onboard and bound for our resort hotel.

FYI: Guests have to claim their own luggage from the baggage claim area at Orlando International Airport and have it loaded on a bus at Disney's Magical Express check-in area (Ground Transportation Area, first level of Terminal B).

Larissa, "Asante Sana" (thank you) for sharing your plans with us here at planDisney. There's nothing that we love more than helping Guests to be more relaxed about their upcoming trips. Have a magical vacation!
