Hey guys! So excited to be going to Disneyland with my wife, but I want to have our tickets on the Disneyland app... Should we put both the tickets on one account? Each create our own account and have each ticket on that? Some combo of the two?

    Hi there, Joshua!

Greetings from a fellow Utahn! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, I'd be happy to help you.

The great thing about Disneyland Park Tickets is that they can be linked to more than one Disney account. So you and your wife are welcome to each use your own Disney account and link both tickets to both accounts, or you can use one Disney account and just log on to that same account on both of your phones. Either way is totally fine!

To link a ticket to the Disneyland Mobile App, open the app and tap the three horizontal bars in the lower right corner. In the menu that pops up, select "Tickets and Passes." If your ticket is already linked to your Disney account, you'll see it here. If not, you can tap the "+" in the top right corner and choose "Link Tickets & Passes" to either scan your ticket barcode or type in your ticket ID number.

Once your tickets are linked to one account, adding them to a second one is super easy! You can follow that exact same process to add your tickets to the second account.

My preference is to use a single Disney account for all of our tickets. My account already includes our stored preferred payment method, which makes it really easy for me to purchase Disney Genie+ or make dining reservations. If you don't have this information in your account already, you can add a payment method to your account

Having your tickets linked to the same account is super important for using Lightning Lanes and Virtual Queues! You'll want to make those selections for both of you together to be sure you don't end up with different return times.

Joshua, have you thought about dining reservations yet? I really love visiting the parks with only me and my husband, it gives us a chance to experience some lovely things like the Blue Bayou—ask for a waterside table when you check in! Another beautiful and romantic extra is the World of Color Dessert Party, which includes the absolute best seating for the show and a delicious plate of cheese, fruit, and dessert.

Please let me know if you have more questions as you plan your trip, Joshua! I hope you and your wife have a magical time!

    Keep moving forward!
