Hi Brad!
I love this question!
The Disney Parks Moms Panel is actually made up of people who all share two things: a genuine love for Disney and the desire to help others have the most magical Disney experience possible. If that sounds like you, then you ABSOLUTELY should apply. You can find details about
how to apply for the Disney Parks Moms Panel at this link. How do I like it? At the risk of sounding dramatic, I will tell you that being part of the panel has been life-changing. I've always loved helping others plan their Disney vacations, so doing it in an official capacity is an honor for me that I am very grateful for. What I did not expect when I applied for the panel is that I would meet some of my very best friends. Obviously, we have the love of Disney in common, but I have connected to so many other panelists in so many different ways. Kids, work, illnesses, travel questions, homework help, you name it...there is someone on the panel who has been there/done that and is always willing to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. In a word, it's been amazing!
I do have a few tips for you when you apply:
* Be yourself when you answer the questions, I think genuineness always shines through.
* Check your grammar and then check it again!
* Make sure you are answering the question correctly and with proper nomenclature. Examples: Cinderella Castle
NOT Cinderella's Castle, "it's a small world"
NOT It's a Small World. The
Walt Disney World website is the best place to check for accuracy.
* Lastly, don't be discouraged if you aren't chosen. A lot of people apply for few spots. As Dory would say, "Just keep swimming" and try again next year!
I hope this is helpful to you. Best of luck on your application process!
