Hey this is our first trip to Disney and I was wondering. What gate to enter the park in? We are staying at he AOA resort and what do I and all to enter the park? What do i need to do once i get there basically?lol

    Hi Samantha ~

A first trip to Disney World is super exciting but it can also be a little overwhelming.  If I am reading your question correctly, you are driving to Disney World and asking what to do once you arrive on property. If not, please come back and let us know and we'll be happy to help.

There are actually a few entrances to the Disney World Resort. I'm not sure which way you'll be traveling from, but there are signs from all of the main roads that will lead you onto the Disney World Resort. You probably already have directions from Google or will use your GPS to get there.  You will know you've arrived on property as you drive under the huge "Walt Disney World ~ Where Dreams Come True" sign. I always tear up.

Once you arrive on property, there will be purple signs with white writing all over the property that will direct you to the hotels, theme parks and other areas like Downtown Disney.  The Art of Animation Resort is located in the same area as the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex so if you see a sign for that before you see a sign for the Art of Animation Resort, head in that direction.

The street address for the Art of Animation Resort (AoA) is 1850 Animation Way, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 if you want to program that in your GPS.

Once you arrive at AoA, pull up to the Guard and tell them you're checking in.  You will need to present a photo ID so have it handy.  Follow the signs to Animation Hall to check-in and park in the Guest Check-In Parking area.  When you check-in, they will provide you will a map of the resort lay-out and provide you directions to your room and parking area.

I hope this is the information you need. If not please feel free to visit again or with any other planning questions.  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
