Hiya, Charlotte! Welcome to
planDisney! I'm so excited for you. A first visit with 14 days to explore is truly something special. You're going to have the most amazing time!
When it comes to your tickets, you actually have flexibility.
Walt Disney World tickets can be used digitally or physically, so it really comes down to what feels most convenient for you. If you'd like to keep everything on your phone, you can set up
Disney MagicMobile through the
My Disney Experience app. Once you open the app, you'll find the MagicMobile option in the menu, and it will guide you step by step. It's very straightforward, and once it's set up, you'll be able to use your phone to enter the parks, link
PhotoPass pictures, and redeem
Lightning Lane passes.
If you prefer something tangible, you can absolutely use physical tickets instead. Disney offers complimentary Key to the World cards, which you can pick up at any ticketing window or
Guest Relations location when you arrive. Many Guests like having this as a backup even if they plan to use their phone.
Now, if you're thinking about getting a MagicBand+, those work by linking them to your My Disney Experience account. Inside the app, you'll go to the MagicBands & Cards section and assign each band to the correct person in your travel party. Once that's done, your tickets will automatically connect to the band, so you can use it for park entry, Lightning Lanes, and more.
There's no need to purchase a MagicBand+ in advance unless you want to. You can absolutely wait until you arrive and choose your favorite design in person at the
Walt Disney World Resort. It's actually a really fun way to start your trip.
Charlotte, you've got everything set up for a smooth start. I hope your first visit is filled with magical moments from day one all the way through day 14. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
