hey! first time 4 DS6 n me! going 8/23-8/29.i have ADR for Mickeys bbq on the 25th at 630pm.is it possible to make it to WISHES at 9?its the only possible day since i dont have park hopper.i heard i need to secure a spot like 2hr b4 its starts. thanks!

It is possible to enjoy Mickey's Backyard Barbecue and then head over to the Magic Kingdom via the boat shuttle which will be located at the Fort Wilderness marina. It is only about a five minute walk. I hate to see guests rushing and stressing but sometimes it is worth it to see it all.

You will most likely want to head out early from the barbecue which is very easy to do and your son will still have had a lot of time to eat and interact with the characters. To get prime seats for the parade it is suggested you do that early but you can still find some sort of spot to squeeze in. Many families will at least often let the little ones get to the front for a better view. The Wishes fireworks show can be seen in many places throughout the park and finding a spot is not usually a problem!
