Hey, Kristy! Welcome to planDisney.
Wow, a group of 20 coming to The Happiest Place on Earth. What a magical time you're going to have together!
Kristy, the way to make d
ining reservations is through the
Disneyland website or
mobile app. Making a reservation for 20 people is going to be tricky. As you can imagine, there is a limited amount of seating for large groups. If I were you, I would "split up your group" into 3/4 smaller groups and make dining reservations for each one. It's often much easier to get dining reservations for smaller groups. Then, on the day of your visit, you can always explain to a Cast Member that you're part of one big group and request to be sat near one another. It's not always possible, but it's worth asking! Cast Members usually try everything within their power to make it a magical experience for the Guests.
I've had success making a dining reservation for 12 people at
Goofy's Kitchen. Some restaurants have more seating than others or are less in demand than others. This makes it easier to get reservations for larger groups.
There are plenty of quick-service restaurants in Disneyland Resort, Kristy. You don't need to make dining reservations for these restaurants. Therefore, your group of 20 would be able to order food and sit near one another. Some of my favorites are
Bengal Barbecue,
Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, and
Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland Park, and
Flo's V8 Cafe and
Pym Test Kitchen at Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope that's helpful, Kristy. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. Have a wonderful time with your family.
Mike
