Hey all! My family and I are planning a Disney World trip in March of 2014. My family consists of myself, husband, 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son. We took a trip in July, 2013 and it rained every day. I was curious how the weather is in March.

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World and I have some excellent news for you, March has fantastic weather!  The summer months in Florida will often have pop up rain showers or thunderstorms, couple that with some really intense humidity it can certainly make touring the parks interesting to say the least.  I have visited several times in March and the weather has been fantastic, I can only recall one time where the rain really became an issue.  The average temperature is in March is around 65 degrees, but can be as low as the upper 50's or as high as the upper 70's.

I would still suggest packing a rain poncho just in case, because a little rain is possible.  Hopefully you won't need to use them, but they are also great for riding Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids.  The latter attractions won't leave you wet, it will leave you soaked!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Jennifer!  Please don't hesitate to visit us again if you have anymore questions or need advice while planning your upcoming vacation.

    Best Wishes!
