Hey so me and my family are planning a disney trip along with in laws. We are all wanting to do a character dinner, most likely Cinderellas castle. There will be 3 maybe 4 groups of us splitting the bill. Can we split the bill and use the meal plan for us?

Hiya, Kathrine. I'm so happy you discovered us on our royal and informative little corner of the internet!

Cinderella's Royal Table is truly an experience that everyone needs to have at least once. After all, you are dining in the most regal setting of all: Cinderella Castle. Not only that, you've got some truly magical company in addition to the already magical company with whom you're dining. There is a very elegant and exclusive cast of princesses for you to chat with throughout your meal. While princesses can change depending on who can get away from their royal duties in their kingdoms, you'll typically see Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella (of course), Aurora, and Snow White. I can't wait for your group to experience it!

Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the dining experiences at the resort for which you must pre-pay, including tax and gratuities, at the time you make your dining reservation. However, when making your reservation, if there is already a Disney Dining Plan attached to your vacation package, you may be able to tell the system to redeem your two-table service meals per Guest using their dining plan. The Guest making the reservation will likely be charged in full for all Guests in your dining party not dining with a dining plan. If you arrive at the restaurant and make any additional purchases when you order, politely let the Cast Member know how you'd like the bill to be split.

In the past, some Guests have reported that when they made their advanced dining reservations for this lovely experience, they were asked to pay for everyone in full, including Guests with the dining plan. In this case, they pre-paid for the experience, and when they got to the restaurant, they informed the Cast Member who was using their dining plan, and the appropriate number of meals were deducted, and their credit card was reimbursed. If this is the case for you, the friendly Cast Members at this location will be able to guide you to the best solution.

Kathrine, enjoy your experience with some loyal, brave, and true ladies who understand the value of dreaming big and show us the beauty of kindness. And be sure to tell my girl Ariel to keep flippin' her fins because no matter what she thought when she was younger, it will get her far! Plus, pineapples may be seen as symbols of warmth, but this entire restaurant embodies that spirit, welcoming you with its rich mahogany details.
