Hey. So my family & I plan on booking our vacation very early (for March 2020). And was wondering if we book the room are we going to be able to book the theme park tickets at a different time??

Hi Chelsea!! I love that you are already planning your March 2020 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Your question makes me so happy!

Great news! You absolutely can book a Resort hotel room and then add theme park tickets at a later date. Rates are not yet available for 2020 online but are historically released during the summer for the following year. You may book a room-only reservation up to 499 days in advance and once packages are released, you can upgrade to a package. You can call 407-560-CHAT (2428) to speak with a Cast Member and reserve your room at a non-guaranteed rate now. If I am planning to stay at a specific Resort hotel, I try to make my Resort hotel reservation as soon as possible so I can better guarantee that I am able to book the Resort hotel of my choice.

I hope this helps you with your planning. Thank you so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical 2020 Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
