Hi there, Kevin!
Welcome to planDisney. Sailing with additional family members or friends adds more fun to a Disney Cruise! We always sail with extended family on the Disney Cruise Line because it is the perfect vacation for large groups. Whether it is lounging poolside in the adult-only area, participating in trivia games, or flying down the AquaMouse (on the Disney Wish), there are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.
I recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line to discuss options for adding another stateroom to your existing reservation. Guests who booked their cruise through a Travel Agent need to work with that person to add another stateroom. An additional deposit will probably be needed at the time of booking.
If you cannot add another stateroom to your current reservation, you can book the additional stateroom under a separate reservation and then link that reservation to your account. This can be done on the
Disney Cruise Line website under "Already Booked" at the top of the page after booking the second stateroom. Log into your MyDisney account and select "My Reservations". Locate your existing itinerary and select "Add Reservations". You will need the confirmation number and the last name and birthdate of one of the Guests in this stateroom.
Make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your mobile phone before your cruise! It is easy to reserve Port Adventures and Onboard Experiences on the app when your
booking window opens. I also like using the
Onboard Chat feature on the app to coordinate plans with family members staying in other staterooms during our cruise.
Kevin, have a wonderful voyage! We hope to see you real soon!
Happy sailing!
Jen
